Hey there, Equippers!

Let’s talk about relationships—because if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: relationships are central to victory in spiritual warfare. From your connection with the Holy Spirit to your place in global missions, the enemy targets every relationship that carries the potential for Kingdom impact.

I’ve been there—trying to fight battles in isolation, thinking I could do it all on my own. But God had to show me that breakthrough happens when relationships are in alignment. Let me share a little of my journey, and then we’ll look at the battles that come with each relational sphere—and how to overcome them.

The Equipping Community: Pre-Launch Invitation 🎉

My Story: How Relationships Shape Victory

There was a time when I thought my effectiveness in spiritual warfare came down to how hard I prayed or how much I knew. But in a quiet moment with the Lord, He revealed something profound: my victories weren’t just about my individual efforts—they were tied to the strength of my relationships.

The more I prioritized my connection with Him, my family, and my faith community, the more I saw accelerated victory. Every healed relationship became a channel for God’s power to flow. It wasn’t easy, and I had to confront some battles head-on, but the fruit has been undeniable.

The Battle for Personal Connection with the Holy Spirit

You know how life can get busy—so busy that spending time with the Holy Spirit feels like one more thing to check off the list? That’s exactly where the enemy wants us. He loves to distract us, keeping us from the very relationship that fuels our strength.

Jesus said, “Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine.” (John 15:4) Staying connected to Him isn’t just important; it’s essential.

Here’s what’s helped me: setting aside specific, uninterrupted time to be with Him. It doesn’t have to look the same every day, but I’ve learned that if I prioritize Him first, everything else falls into place.

The Battle for Unity in Your Family

Families are often the frontlines of spiritual warfare. Whether it’s a misunderstanding, a sharp word, or just the daily grind, the enemy is always looking for ways to create division.

Jesus said, “If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.” (Mark 3:25) Unity is worth fighting for.

For me, this has meant choosing forgiveness—sometimes over and over. It’s meant having hard conversations when I’d rather avoid them and making space to really listen to my loved ones. When peace reigns in your home, it’s like a fortress against the enemy.

The Battle for Commitment to Your Faith Family

Have you ever felt like pulling away from your faith community? Maybe someone said something hurtful, or you just didn’t feel like you belonged. That’s exactly what the enemy wants—he loves to isolate us, cutting off the strength we gain from fellowship.

Paul reminded the early church to “carry each other’s burdens.” (Galatians 6:2) There’s power in doing life together.

I’ve found that staying connected takes intentionality. Show up, even when you don’t feel like it. Be the one to reach out, even if it feels awkward. Community isn’t perfect, but it’s worth it.

The Battle for Regional Kingdom Impact

Sometimes the hardest battle is believing your influence matters. The enemy loves to whisper lies like, “What difference can you make?” But God has placed you in your city or region for a purpose.

Jesus called us the light of the world—a city on a hill that cannot be hidden. (Matthew 5:14) Your prayers and actions carry weight, even if you don’t see the results right away.

For me, stepping into this sphere has meant being faithful in the small things: praying for my neighbors, volunteering in my community, and partnering with other believers to bring Kingdom change.

The Battle for Global Missions

When it comes to global missions, the enemy uses fear. Fear of the unknown. Fear of not having enough resources. But here’s the thing: we’re called to be part of God’s work around the world.

“How can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?” (Romans 10:14) Missions isn’t just for someone else—it’s for all of us.

Even if you’re not traveling to another nation, you can still play a role. Pray for missionaries. Support them financially. Stay open to the possibility that God might call you to go someday.

Victory Through Alignment: Winning Together

Here’s what I want you to take away today: victory isn’t just about what you do—it’s about who you’re aligned with. Are you prioritizing your relationship with the Holy Spirit? Are you fighting for unity in your family? Are you staying connected to your faith family and engaged with your region and the world?

When you align these relationships with God’s purposes, you’ll see accelerated victory like never before.

Join me in The Equipping Community - You owe it to yourself to develop new connections with like-minded people.

Let’s lead with love, inspire through influence, and step into God’s plans for a powerful new season!

Blessings,
Mike Brewer
